It's a girl!

Baby Shaha made her debut on film today. And boy did she put on a show! She was doing so many funny things. We decided that she likes cheese because I ate a cheese stick right before heading to the hospital. She and Gabe will get along well. :)

We also came to these conclusions:


#1 She's a looker! The ultrasound tech kept mentioning how "cute" she was.
#2 She will be an athlete. Look at that foot! That is a bee-yootiful arch. And she was moving around so much I think we interrupted a workout or something. She's probably on a Gatorade high all the time. Poor girl, she'll probably come out addicted to the stuff.


#3 She's a little camera shy. We assume this because she kept putting her hand over her face when the nurse was trying to take a picture.

It was amazing the things we could see- her kidneys, heart, brain, spine, fingers, toes, even her femur. I was in awe and Dave was geeking out! Everything is looking good and healthy. Mostly it was a relief for me to see that she was moving around. I had been getting a little worried lately that I hadn't felt any "movement" yet. There really is a little person in there!
