The desert surrounding St. George was blaketed with a beautiful

scroud of snow the night before the race.

Fire and Ice *** The little cinder cone in Snow Canyon.

I've never seen it with snow before.

Tired, sore, and freezing, but happy as can be with

a good hard 13.1 miles. Lisa in at 2:09, Bill at 1:38

Lisa is focused and oblivious of her #1 fan and

photographer as she nears the finish.

The day before the race we attended the St. George

Temple and did the temple work for Lisa's great-great

grandparents. We stayed with Henry and Mary Mendoza,

and were also able to see Aunt Eve, and Denny and

Marsha Fuhriman.

You guys are so AWESOME! I have some speedy parents. Dad- you're so good with the camera. I love the picture of Mom coming to the finish in the zone and the snow-covered desert.
